From its Start, Plastiq Has Been Proud to Empower Cardholders With Payment Choice

It started with one question: Why can't tuition be paid on credit card?

Eliot Buchanan Co-Founder & Chief Excecutive Officer
Daniel Choi Co-Founder & Head of Product

Plastiq was born when a father who wanted to pay his son’s University tuition by credit card was told “no.” That son then set out to create a solution so that anyone who wanted to use their card to make a payment could, regardless of acceptance.

Originally Plastiq started out as 4Ward Thinking, a tuition-based payments company. Five years later, Plastiq is processing millions in payments for hundreds of thousands of customers who prefer to use their card to make all their important life’s payments.

With Plastiq, you can be confident that you can always access the value of your cards. Pay the way you want and get back to your life.
